Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and there’s no better way to start the holiday than by joining the Leyden Rock Turkey Trot 2024! Set for Saturday, November 16th in the heart of the Leyden Rock neighborhood, this annual 5K is perfect for runners, walkers, families, and friends looking for a festive and active start to their Thanksgiving celebrations.

Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply want to stroll through the scenic neighborhood with neighbors, the Leyden Rock Turkey Trot welcomes participants of all levels. And with some exciting additions this year, it’s shaping up to be the best event yet.
What’s New This Year?
We’re thrilled to bring some fresh features to enhance your race experience:
• Individual Timed Bibs: Each participant receives a timed bib for personal tracking.
• Live Race Tracking: Get real-time results and follow your progress as you go.
• Costume Contest and Refreshments: Add a little extra fun by dressing up for the run—there’ll be prizes for the best turkey or Thanksgiving-themed costumes! And post-race, refuel with complimentary snacks and drinks.

This year, we’re proud to partner with Community Table, a local organization focused on providing food and support to families in need. All participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations on race day, which will be collected at the registration area. If you prefer, there’s also an option to make a monetary donation during your online registration.
